About the club

A community club since 1959

Burden Park Tennis Club has been part of Springvale South since Springvale City Council made the land available for recreation in 1959. Membership today is diverse in age, standard and nationality — around 200 members strong, including 14 Life Members, with competition teams across Juniors, Seniors, Night Tennis, Pennant and mid-week ladies' and men's grades, plus a strong social tennis following.

Our six mod-grass (synthetic grass) courts are all floodlit for night tennis, and the clubhouse has a full kitchen, change rooms, an outdoor shelter and a barbecue — facilities mostly kept running by our own volunteer members.
