About the Club

A community club, six courts strong

Burden Park Tennis Club has called this corner of Springvale South home since Springvale City Council made the land available in August 1959. Our membership is diverse in age, standard and nationality — around 200 members strong, including 14 life members, fielding competition teams across Juniors, Seniors, Night Tennis, Pennant and mid-week ladies' and men's grades, alongside a strong social tennis following.

Coaching is available for all standards, and our six mod-grass courts are floodlit for night tennis and open for casual hire. Our clubhouse has a fully equipped kitchen, change rooms, an outdoor shelter and a barbecue — largely kept running by the volunteer members who use it.
