From your first Hot Shots session to fine-tuning a competition serve, coaching at Burden Park meets you where you are.
How it works
Grassroots first, then your own game
Development is supported at every level — from Hot Shots (ages 7 to 11) through to junior tournament players and senior devotees. Grassroots instruction is a priority, progressing to personalised individual coaching as players develop. Juniors are encouraged to play Saturday and Sunday morning competition and school-holiday tournaments. Private tuition is available for new members and adults refining their game.

Junior pathway
From Hot Shots to the school-holiday tournament trail
Hot Shots (ages 7–11)
Grassroots instruction is a high priority here — Hot Shots is where most of our juniors start, building the basics before moving into personalised, individual coaching.
Junior tournament players
Juniors are encouraged to play Saturday and Sunday morning WDTA competition, and to enter junior tournaments held through the school holidays.
New members and adults welcome too
Private tuition is available whether you're brand new to the club or simply want to sharpen your game.
