Around 200 members call Burden Park their club — juniors, families, and14 life members who've never left. New members of every age and standard are welcome.

The membership year starts on 1 September. If you join later in the season, you'll pay a pro-rata fee. Fee tables and the membership application form are also available as downloads — ask the committee for the current "BPTC Pro-rata Fees" and "BPTC Membership Application" documents.
Who plays here
Around 70% of members are of Asian background, predominantly Vietnamese, alongside members of European heritage — a reflection of Springvale South itself.
Membership covers competition across every level — Juniors, Seniors, Night Tennis, Pennant (WDTA) and mid-week ladies'/men's — plus a strong social tennis following and coaching for all standards.
Junior & Family Programs
Bring the whole family down to the courts
A $240.00 membership covers a husband, wife and their immediate children — so the whole family can play, train and turn up on a Saturday morning without juggling separate memberships.
Junior development starts with Hot Shots (ages 7 to 11) and grows into personalised individual coaching as kids build their game. From there, juniors are encouraged into Saturday and Sunday morning WDTA competition — four teams play Saturday mornings, plus one Sunday morning team — and into the junior tournaments held through the school holidays.
For families just starting out, Hot Shot Tennis also runs on Thursday afternoons for beginners.
