Original directions — three distinct brand strategies

01

Community Roots

Warm · Friendly · Family

“More Than Tennis. A Community Since 1959.”

Burden Park's greatest asset isn't its six courts — it's the community that has gathered here since 1959. Membership reflects Springvale South itself: around 200 members, roughly seven in ten from Asian backgrounds (predominantly Vietnamese), alongside members of European heritage. This concept opens on a real photo of members together, not stock photography. Eucalyptus green and clubhouse-brick terracotta come straight from the site; a humanist sans typeface keeps the tone approachable rather than corporate.

Match Ready

Dynamic · Competition · Energy

“Six Courts. Six Nights a Week. Always a Game On.”

Burden Park fields teams almost every day of the week across WDTA and AVTA competition. This concept carries that energy without losing the club's identity — every photo is a real member, coach or junior, never a stock athlete. The court-blue is lifted directly from Burden Park's own mod-grass courts. Fixtures & Results links out to the club's real ClubSpark and WDTA pages rather than inventing scores.

Club Legacy

Heritage · Trust · Tradition

“A Legacy Still Playing.”

Land granted in 1959, a first clubhouse built from the remains of an old Volkswagen, a 1976 relocation, a 2022 conversion to mod-grass — an unusually rich history for a suburban club. The hero opens on a real photograph, not a diagram; the full story unfolds as a dedicated timeline further down the page. The palette keeps the club's own navy and gold, so the redesign reads as evolution, not rebrand.

04

Modern Club

Clean · Confident · Template

“Play. Compete. Belong.”

Built to match the club's own V1 reference mockup: a full-bleed evening hero, a stat bar, and a four-card program grid. The stat bar swaps the mockup's rounded-up placeholder numbers for the real ones — 6 courts, 200 members, 14 life members, established 1959 — so nothing on the page is invented.

What's different here

  • Programs For Everyone
  • Real stat bar (no placeholder numbers)

Family & Community

Warm · Rounded · Template

“More Than Tennis. We're Family.”

Built to match the club's own V2 reference mockup: a real family photo hero, an icon feature row, and an events strip. The mockup's fabricated calendar dates (Jun 01, Jun 08...) are replaced with the club's real recurring activities — social tennis, night tennis, junior tournaments, annual AVTA/East vs West — styled the same way but honest.

What's different here

  • Real family photo hero
  • Recurring activities strip (no invented dates)

Fresh & Modern

Airy · Split-hero · Template

“More Than a Club. It's a Community.”

Built to match the club's own V5 reference mockup: a split hero with a real drone photo of all six courts on the right, a stat bar, and a five-card "What We Offer" grid. The single script-accented word keeps the one flourish from the mockup without letting it spread further.

What's different here

  • Real aerial-photo split hero
  • What We Offer (5-card icon grid)
